Giving birth at VHC Health (Virginia Hospital Center)
In my experience supporting births at VHC Health in Arlington, the labor rooms have been very small, offering limited space for movement and labor support. I have also found the care teams less consistently accommodating of VBAC preferences and non-medicated birth goals. Based on those experiences, I would consider it a better fit for families who prefer a medicated delivery or a more medically directed approach. Experiences vary by provider and nursing team, so discussing your preferences in advance is helpful.
