Who we are
This website belongs to Pure Birth Doula (Susie Rowzie), a birth doula practice serving Northern Virginia. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to purebirthdoula@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you fill out the contact form: your name, phone number and email (step 1). If you choose to continue, your due date, city or town, and where you plan to give birth (step 2). Step 2 is optional.
When you browse: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use analytics that follow you across other websites. This site keeps anonymous visit counts with no cookies.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, schedule your free consultation, and provide the doula services you ask about. If you give an email address, you’ll get one automatic email confirming we received your message.
We don’t send marketing texts. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
Who can see it
Your form details go straight to Susie’s secure client-management system, run by our software provider (Doula Pocket), which stores and processes them on our behalf and only to provide this service. New-inquiry notifications sent to Susie contain only your name and contact details, never your due date or birth details.
We may share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide and document your care. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing purebirthdoula@gmail.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Links
Links to other sites (such as Google reviews or social media) are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
